In the last week of Autumn Term 2023, I said farewell and thank you to Sacred Heart school, 13 years of learning, growing and fun.
I have enjoyed my time at Sacred Heart, the highs and the lows and look forward to relaxing, reading more books and more exploration on walking with our 18 month old dog Eddie.
The photographs show the highlights of the last week, the Infant Nativity, the last assembly, the children and staff gathered in the playground to say goodbye and the fun in the staff room as the staff decorated the room and a chair for my 60th/retirement party .
Then the big surprise of the children doing a flash mob dance routine to Take That Never Forget, at the end of my assembly, a heartfelt thanks for that surprise, it really made my cry ( tears of joy).
Thank you to staff , parents, Governors and children for the good wishes, cards and gifts, I have felt very spoiled.
Finally God Bless to all the children, may you continue to Grow in the spirit of Love and learning with a joyful heart.
