Pilgrims of Hope

Pope Francis has announced that during 2025 there will be a Jubilee Year and the them will be 'Pilgrims of Hope.' 

This special year was officially launched in school across England and Wales on Friday 24th January. In our school, we held a special Celebration of the Word and thought about how we can bring Hope to our world by our actions.

Throughout the year, we will be taking part in special activities and celebrations so that we can be, 'Pilgrims of Hope, working together to build a better world.'

CAFOD LENT WALK

On Friday 21st March, the whole school took part in our Lent Walk for Cafod. The children walked, laughed and danced along as we walked towards the Clay Hole Park and around the lake. The Year 6 children looked after our reception children.  As they walked, they knew that they were helping families and children around the world just like them. 

Neighbours stopped and asked what we were doing and the children happily answered and witnessed to their faith.
