We have had a very exciting morning in Reception. We came into school in our winter clothes all wrapped up ready to meet Nomad Rangers at Forest school. The morning started by lighting a fire, we had to be very sensible and careful. Then, we sliced bananas and put chocolate drops in the middle of them. We made excellent predictions about what happen to the chocolate when we put the bananas into the fire. Next, we made pizza dough using yogurt, flour and garlic. We had great fun, stirring, mixing and kneading the dough. We then put tomato and cheese on our pizzas they were delicious. Finally, we toasted marshmallows and made S’mores. We had a wonderful time working together and exploring the outdoors.
